He then fought in the Ultimate Boxxer tournament in September 2019 live on BT Sports and in a cracking fight lost to Southern Area Champion Sean Robinson.
But he got back to winning ways in November 2019 with a 6 round victory over Duane Green. Syrett will be looking for a title opportunity in 2020.
