Sean Robinson
Super Welterweight
12 Bouts 10 Wins 1 Draw 1 Loss

23-year-old Super-Welterweight Sean is trained by Terry Steward at Club KO in Buckhurst Hill Essex. Whilst aiming to win multiple belts in his career he believes in one step at a time. Sean won his first title at his first attempt when beating the previously undefeated Joshua Ejakpovi at York Hall on 9th March 2019.

He then defended his title in June 2019 where he kept his title after a thrilling draw with John Brennan once again at York Hall.

He then competed in the Ultimate Boxxer tournament and after defeating Lewis Syrett in the first round had a thrilling Semi-Final with former Olympian Steven Donnelly and lost a very close contest 29-28 on the scorecards. Sean is a 10 round fighter and whilst the format did not suit him it was apparent that in a long-distance fight it could well have been a different story.

Sean was born in Ealing, West London and has lived in Ruislip all his life. Started boxing at 7 Sean had 47 amateur bouts winning 29 reaching two national finals, one schoolboy final and one NABC final. As an amateur Sean boxed for Dale Youth and Hooks boxing club eventually turning professional at the age of 20 in 2016.

Sean's favourite fighters are Pernell Whittaker and Sugar Ray Leonard. Sean would describe himself as a go-forward counter puncher who presses opponents and looks for openings.
