GB Fight Series 1 last weekend brought some of the mostr exciting boxing seen so far in 2022, and now we move swiftly onto GB Fight Series 2 this weekend which promises to deliver value for fans once again.

An exciting 9 fight card which is topped by the Souuthern Area Super Flyweight title between Jack "The Punk Kid" Hughes & Paul Roberts. The 29 year old flamboyant punk Hughes gets his second crack at the title after coming up short of the scorescards when he contested for the title back in December 2018. But with experience comes confidence and confidence is something Hughes feels coming into this title shot. But Roberts has title aspirations of his own and although has had slip ups in his career the 26 year old will he will appreciate the opportunity presented to him and with his travelling fans he belives the timing is right for him.

Former Southern Area Challenger ID Hill returns and undertakes his first contest under the Goodwin Boxing banner. Hill 9-3-2 has always built up the hard way and looks to put himself back in title contention sometime in 2022. Hill takes on road warrior Lee Hallet in a 6 round contest.

On the card sees the long awaited debut of Super Lightweight Brandon Webb, Webb is looking forward to getting his career started under the watchful eye of trainer Andy Gill. Webb takes on Lee Devine over 4.

The fan favourite Essex based Krzystof Zuraw returns to the ring for the second time as a professional, Zuraw trained by Simon Dempsey in Southend looks to add another win to his tally after his impressive debut back in September last year. He takes on Luke Fash over 4 rounds.

Talking of impressive debuts GB Fight Series 2 brings the 2nd pro fight of Patrick Gill's young career, coming off of a win against the awkward Mwenya Chisanga first time out he now faces Liam Richards in a 4 round contest. 

Jack Newham looks to get back to winning ways after a draw last time out. Newham 5-1-1 has been working hard on improvements over the past 9 months and looks to showcase them on Saturday night. He takes on Dean Wilkinson over 4.

Juliette Horwood returns for her second contest after a barnstorming win in his debut, This fight saw Horwood pick up fighter of the night which was no surprise as the crowd were on their feet throughout her debut. Horwood takes on the experienced Bojana Libiszewska over 4x2.

 And finally making his professional debut is Ray Bear, Ray trained and manaed by Alec Wilkey steps through the ropes for the first time as a professional as he takes on Jordan Grannum.
