GB Fight Series 1 brings the first Goodwin Boxing show of the year as we return back to the home of British Boxing, the famous York Hall. 

The first of our new GB fight series is topped by a mouth watering English Super Lightweight Title Eliminator between 2 top prospects who are both gentlemen as well. Sajid Abid 10-1 takes on Tom Ansell 9-1 in a fight that has the experts split. 2 of Abid's last 3 fights have been abroad his last fight coming by way of a highlight reel KO on the Amir Khan Crypto fight night in La Perle, Dubai. Ansell himself comes into this fight coming off the back of a first round knockout over 10-4 prospect Darren Townley. It promises to be a fight worthy of topping any bill.
 
The card also sees a duo dubbed "The Thanet Boys" as undefeated stable mates Paul Brown & Joe Roswell appear together on the same card. Brown 6-0 steps up in rounds as he takes on one of the countries hardest men Bryn Wain over 8 rounds. Roswell is back in his 2nd pro fight after a punch perfect showing in his debut just before the COVID 19 pandemic, he takes on Christian Narvaez.

The hugely popular undefeated Jack Owen 4-0-1 gets the opporutnity to set right the only blemish on his record as he takes on Lewis Van Poestch for the second time. The pair originally faced off back in June 2019 in Owen's 2nd pro fight and on that night the ref gave a share of the spoils. 
 
Cruiserweight prospect Jake Caswell steps up to heavyweight due to opponent shortages and takes on heavyweight road warrior Phil Williams. Caswell impressed in his debut outpointing the teak tough Ossie Jervier. The contest is scheduled for 4 rounds.

Another fight to watch on the card is the return of Oli Edwards he makes his first appearance under a new training team. Edwards 6-0 takes on former Southern Area Challenger Robbie Chapman and Edwards hopes this is his first step back towards title honours. 
 
The card is wrapped up with 3 excellent propect all making their debut in a professional ring. Andrei Santa ha been waiting for his opportunity for many months now as the pandemic prevented him from debuting back in 2020. Santa takes on Luke Fash over 4. Timon Douglin is bringing an army of fans for his first professional contest, he takes on Harry Matthews over 4 and the final debutant on the card is "The Entertainer" Liam Wiseman. Wiseman will bring an exciting style & a noisy crowd when he steps through the ropes for the first time. The Entertainer takes on Pauls Cummings over 4.
