This weekends sees Rakeem Noble head into a major contestslive on the sky platform
This weekend in Hull, Rakeem Noble takes on Tommy Coyle in a Super-Lightweight clash on the undercard of the McDonnell v Vargas world title clash. Noble rose to prominence in 2015 defeating two previously undefeated fighters to win and then retain the Southern Area title. A 4th round TKO over Sohail Ahmad was followed by a comprehensive points win over the highly touted Kay Prospere. Manager Goodwin then sought a high profile fight for Noble and this has come in the shape of “Boom Boom” Tommy Coyle. There is no doubt that Coyle has mixed at a higher level at both amateur and professional but this does not deter Noble. “This is the opportunity I have been waiting for and I had just returned from a full training camp in the Far East when I got the call. I am 100% ready and it will be be a great fight. I have the utmost respect for Tommy but under estimate me at your peril. Goodwin endorsed his boxers chances “Rakeem has the biggest engine of any boxer I have ever seen. Sky viewers are in for a treat this Saturday”.
