Miles Shinkwin & Joel McIntyre will get to set the record straight and complete their trilogy on 15th Setember for the vacant English Light Heavyweight crown at York Hall.

They first faced off back in July 2014 for the then vacant Southern Area Light Heavyweight Title at York Hall, with Shinkwin picking up the win and the belt, after a closely fought barnstorming points win. Shinkwin winning 97-95 on the refs score card.

Then fast forward to December 2016, time for the return, but this time in McIntyre's backyard of Portsmouth. The vacant English Light Heavyweight title was up for grabs this time. It was a bear pit hostile enviorment & again both fighters didn't disappoint. McIntyre emerging victorious on this occassion, becoming English champion with a unanimous decision with all three judges scoring it 93-96, 93-97 & 93-98 in McIntyre's favour.

With the score tied at 1-1 on 15th Septemnber they finally get to set it straight. Once again the vacant English Light Heavyweight crown will be on the line. But this fight has more to it than the just the English title, there is a history between both boxers & neither one will want to emerge on the wrong side of this trilogy.
