Super-Featherweight Chris Lawrence inks a three year deal with Steve Goodwin

23 year old Maidstone prospect Chris Lawrence (9-1) is the latest Kent prospect to put ink to paper and sign a three year management deal with Goodwin Boxing.

Now trained by Mark Murray-Osborne, Chris has won 9 of his first 10 fights with a sole blemish suffered in February 2018.

Many young professionals have suffered blemishes in their early career and at 23 Chris has a massive future ahead of him.

He will be making his Goodwin bow on a massive 17th November show at York Hall which is headlined by a Commonwealth Cruiserweight title fight between Wadi Camacho v Arfan Iqbal with chief support the English Super-Bantamweight title clash between Michael Ramabeletsa and Ryan Walker.

This is the biggest show Chris has ever fought at “I am delighted to be signing with Steve Goodwin and just as delighted to be boxing on such a big stage. I am expecting a lot of following from the Kent area in what will be my first fight at York Hall and the first time I have fought on such a high level show.”

Steve said “I am delighted to welcome Chris to the team. He is still only 23 and has had 10 fights. He will be winning titles and my job is to build him towards titles so that he can have the successful career his talent deserves.
