Back on 30th November 2019, Liam Dillon & Youssef Khoumari engaged in one of the fights of the year for the vacate English Super Featherweight Title. It was a fight for the ages. Whilst the majority at ringside thought Liam had won , it was deemed so close the 3 judges at ringside were unable to split them as they scored it a draw.
In October 2020 Liam set the record straight. With Khoumari pulling out of a rematch, Liam fought Khomari;s stablemate Dennis Wahome winning the fight on points.
All action Liam is trained by Steve Kipps at Sparta Gym.
Liam won his first title (Souther Area Super Featherweight Title) at his first attempt with a very impressive stoppage victory over David Birmingham at York Hall on 9th March 2019.
