PARKER GETS EUROPEAN TITLE SHOT ON HOME SOIL AT BOX-MANIA 5

Goodwin Boxing are delighted to announce that they have won purse bids to stage the European Super-Flyweight title fight between Britain’s Lauren Parker and Italian Giuseppina Di Stefano.
Current IBO Inter-Continental Champion is delighted that the fight is being staged on home soil. “I am so excited that I am able to fight for this prestigious title on home soil and that our team (including my own family) were able to work together to ensure we could stage this on home soil.” Lauren continued “It is an amazing show that I am on and I expect a massive support from my supporters on the night. The support is going to be electric.”.

The experienced 38-year-old Di Stefano will be no pushover. A stellar amateur career followed by only one defeat in 9 outings as a professional (which came in a previous tilt at this European title) means she is confident of taking the belt back to Italy.

This fantastic top of the bill is supported by no less than 3 English Title fights,
Mitchell Frearson v Brad  Pauls – English Middleweight title
Sajid Abid v Denis Denikajev – English Super Lightweight title
Lewis Frimpong v Michael Ramabeletsa – English Featherweight title

Also added to the card is a final eliminator for the English Super Middleweight title between Southern Area Champion William Webber (11-1) and the undefeated Adrian Redman (8-0). It does not stop there with a 10 round 50/50 non-title fight at Super Bantamweight between two great talents, the undefeated Joke Amechi taking on Andrei Santa (3-0).

At Cruiserweight we see the battle of the undefeated over 6 rounds where Lewis Oakford (3-0) takes on Julian Williams (4-0).

Completing the outstanding line up is leading super Welterweight prospect Billy Stanbury (7-0), super talented George Hennon (8-2) in his return at Super Lightweight and the debut of one of the leading super-lightweight prospects in the country Tyler Chambers under the tutelage of John Cole.

“The best non-TV show in a decade” is how promoter Steve Goodwin describes this event.
