Then on 11/3/2023 Mitchell proved that his managers words were so true.
Taking on undefeated Balraj Singh in an eliminator for the Southern Area title, Mitchell dropped Singh twice in round 3 before finishing him off after only 6 seconds of the fourth round.
September 2023 saw Mitch have his first title shot when he took on Brad Pauls for the English Middleweight title. Mitch was stopped in the 8th round after giving a great account of himself. Mitch took some time out as he became a father for the first time and we expect him back in the ring in March 2024
